Connecting Slack Workspace with PingSafe
This article explains how you can connect your Slack Workspace with PingSafe for detecting security vulnerabilities continuously.
- Please make sure you are an admin on Slack workspace before continuing with the integration.
- Click on Create New App on the https://api.slack.com/apps page.
- Choose From Scratch option.
- Enter the desired App Name and Choose the workspace you want to install the app in and then click Create App
- After the app is created, select the Permissions option from the screen
- In Scopes section, under User Token Scopes, add the following permissions:
- Under “OAuth Tokens for Your Workspace”, click on “Install to Workspace” to install the app.
- Press “Allow” to continue. The page will redirect to the Permissions page
- Copy the “User OAuth Token” and paste the same on Slack Workspace token field on PingSafe Dashboard and click Submit
Your slack workspace is now connected to PingSafe and will be continuously monitored for vulnerabilities.
